Dark Side of the Moon
I have been directing my artistic and spiritual energies and my social consciousness into photography since 2014. I travel widely, and in addition to wildlife, landscapes, and cityscapes, I focus on creating abstract images.
In the time of Covid, like so many of us, I have experienced loss of community and purpose, anger and despair, eating and daydreaming too much. I have wandered streets and empty parking lots, masked with eyes down, taking pictures of small slices of crosswalks and center stripes with their radiating cracks, impressions of tires and shoes, tar blacks and splashes of white and yellow. The Dark Side of the Moon is one result of my post-processing experiments with these surfaces.
